My name is Christiana Addo, and I am a female home carer with experience in providing both live-in and hourly care. Over the years, I have gained experience in assisting individuals with different conditions, including Mild Cognitive Impairment, Parkinson's Disease, bedbound patients, anxiety, and depression.
Although I may not be able to drive or have a car, I compensate for this by being skilled in essential caregiving tasks. From bathing and toileting to assistance with dressing, I understand the importance of maintaining personal hygiene and dignity for those I care for. Additionally, I provide companionship and ensure that a friendly and supportive environment is always present.
Outside of my caregiving role, I have developed a passion for dancing, cooking, and baking. These hobbies allow me to embrace creativity and bring happiness and satisfaction to both myself and others. I also enjoy watching TV, listening to music, and engaging in various sports activities to stay active and mentally refreshed.
Furthermore, I have an affinity for pets, particularly cats, spiders, fish, rabbits, and birds. Their presence brings me joy, and I believe they can have a positive impact on the well-being of those I care for.
What truly motivates me in my role as a carer is the opportunity to assist individuals in leading independent lives. I find great fulfillment in helping people maintain their dignity and ensuring they feel valued and respected. With my caring nature and friendly disposition, I strive to create a warm and supportive environment that promotes well-being and encourages a sense of purpose and fulfillment.
